In the meantime, here's everything in v1.0: THREE WAYS TO PLAY • Companion mode - a real, ongoing relationship: your character remembers, grows, and reaches out between sessions, like texting someone who genuinely knows you. • Roleplay mode - collaborative fiction where you and your character co-write a scene together, with rich action, dialogue, and atmosphere. Perfect if you're here for immersive RP. • Narrative mode - pure story mode: your character narrates like an author, with longer, descriptive prose for when you want to read a story unfold. • Each character has its own default mode, so your roster can hold everything from a close companion to an epic roleplay partner. BUILT FOR ROLEPLAYERS • Set the scene - give any roleplay a scenario and setting, and watch atmospheric scene backgrounds appear to match where your story takes place. • Move the story forward - jump time ahead ("next morning, the tavern"), nudge a character to keep going, or re-roll a reply until the scene lands right. • Direct from behind the curtain - use (OOC: …) to steer tone, pacing, or continuity without breaking immersion, and your character adjusts while staying in role. • Adventures - drop into guided, multi-scene story experiences led by a narrator, using the characters you choose. A COMPANION THAT REMEMBERS & GROWS • Deep, lasting memory - your characters remember your conversations, the little details, and the moments that mattered, and carry them forward over time. • Living emotions - characters have moods that shift naturally with the conversation, and relationships that deepen through five stages as you grow closer. • They reach out first - companions can message you between sessions, and you can browse and reply to everything from your inbox. • Relationships that can change - as you grow close, a bond can evolve into something new over time: a friendship becoming romance, a rivalry softening into trust. • You control the memory - pin the key facts that matter most, and your character will always keep them front of mind. CREATE & EXPLORE • Build your own characters - craft a companion with a full backstory, personality, and voice, complete with a generated portrait. A built-in Help guide walks you through writing a great one. • Import from other apps - bring characters over from Character.AI and other formats in seconds, no re-writing needed. • Explore the community - discover public characters, filter by type, tag, or universe, and like or love the ones you enjoy. • Universes - place characters in shared worlds and settings with their own lore. • Group chats - bring two characters into the same conversation and watch them play off each other and you (Plus & Premium). • Personas - save multiple versions of yourself and choose who you show up as in each conversation.
